Drop it in.
Walk it out.

A shopping basket that recognises every RFID-tagged item the moment it goes in running total on the handle display, tap-to-pay built right into the basket itself. Customers shop, pay, and leave. No checkout queue, no scanning items twice, no staff at the till.

Feature 04 · Handle Display

The screen on the basket handle is more than a running total. It shows shopping-list progress, surfaces promotions on items as the customer browses, displays loyalty rewards, and lets them pay without ever putting the basket down. The screen earns its place.

  • Live running total + line items
  • Shopping-list progress tracking
  • Aisle-aware promotion surfacing
  • Loyalty rewards display
  • Tap-to-pay screen built in
  • Sunlight-readable e-paper option

Feature 05 · Loss Prevention
Feature 05

Loss Prevention.

Smart Basket isn't just for the customer  it's a loss-prevention layer. Every item with an RFID tag is tracked across the floor. Items that leave a basket and don't return to a shelf trigger an alert. Items that exit the store unpaid trigger the walk-out gate. Loss visibility goes from "shrinkage report" to "live dashboard".

  • Live tracking of every tagged item
  • Off-shelf, off-basket anomaly alerts
  • Walk-out-gate unpaid-item detection
  • Loss dashboards across every store
  • Audit replay for incidents
  • Integrates with EASI RFID Solutions

Also worth noting

How Smart Basket plugs in.

Smart Basket isn't a standalone, it's the in-customer-hand piece of a wider unmanned-retail vision.

Pairs with ESL

Live shelf prices on ESL, live basket price on the handle. Customers always see exactly what they'll pay.

Backed by EASI POS

Every basket transaction settles into the same POS ledger as the staffed counter one ledger, one ground truth.

Self-Service Kiosk fallback

Customers who'd rather use a kiosk still can use Smart Basket to complement self-checkout, doesn't replace it.
